Coobie Seamless Bra Review

coobie seamless bra review

I haven’t done a bra review in 4 1/2 years.  I kind of gave up. Except for different colors and patterns, there hasn’t been a lot of new technology in bras, especially in the larger sizes (D+). It was all underwires and armor-plated padding. So I was a bit skeptical when the folks at Coobie asked me to review their Coobie Scoopneck Bra in full size.

About the Product:

The Scoopneck bra is seamless, with no hooks or clasps. Straps are adjustable and removable and each has removable, reversible padding. The pads stay in place with the versatile pocket that can be used to hold prosthetics in place of the pads. The fabric is made of an ultra soft nylon and spandex blend. The full size has a fuller cut (for 38A to 48DD). In addition, straps are now sewn in the front and are a bit wider as well. The bra comes in 32 different colors and patterns. Coobie bras come in eight different styles, most of which also come in full size.

My Review:

Here’s what the bra looked like, out of the package:

Moment of truth. I am a 36D. Not large, but definitely not small. This bra just did not look like it would have enough support. I was also concerned how it would be pulling it over my head.

Boy was I surprised. I had no problem getting the Coobie seamless bra over my head, or even over my chest. I tried it without the pads to start. I won’t show you that picture. Suffice it to say if you are larger and older, you should probably use the pads.

Here’s what I look like wearing the bra, with the pads inserted into the pockets:

This bra is surprisingly supportive (with the pads in) and super comfortable. Normally at the end of the day I need to let the girls be free, but with the Coobie seamless bra, I actually forgot I was wearing a bra!

I received a bra at no charge in exchange for an honest review.  All opinions are 100% my own.
