My Review:

I was intrigued by the idea of cooking Asian food in my slow cooker.  I use my slow cooker all the time but I had never used it to cook any kind of Asian food.

I tried the recipe for Sweet and Sour chicken, but substituted a pork tenderloin:

The meal turned out so tender and flavorful. My family loved it!! This recipe was a huge hit and I will be sure to make it again. The directions were easy to follow and I didn’t have to adjust any times.

With categories as diverse as Ditch the Takeout, 5 Ingredients or Less, One Pot & Skillet, Skip The Stove-Top, Fiery Favorites, Meatless Mondays, Sensational Soups and Delectable Desserts, we will have new recipes to try for a long time to come!! I think I will try Lemon Chicken next, followed by Summer Rolls with Glazed Brown Sugar Pork and Mandarin Orange Cheesecake.

  1. I haven’t used my slow pot recently mostly because everything that comes out of it tends to taste the same. This book could be just what I need. I would like to enter the giveaway but as I’m in the UK I can’t do so, never mind I will keep a look out for a copy of the book.
