Two weeks ago, I shared with you the kids’ adapted recipe for Lemon Parmesan Chicken. At that time I promised you the recipe for the accompanying pasta with lemon butter sauce. Well, here it is!!
1/2 cube unsalted butter
2-3 cloves garlic, grated
1 small shallot, grated
2 Tbsp. flour
16 oz. chicken broth
1 tsp. lemon-herb seasoning
In a 2 qt. or larger saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and shallot, zest of the lemons and 2 Tbsp, flour. Stir with a wire whisk and cook just until thickened.
Add chicken broth, lemon-herb seasoning and lemon juice. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, until flavors are well-blended.
Serve over your favorite cooked pasta.
