Photo Book Review photo book review

I have always enjoyed scrapbooking.  Ever since I had my first camera I loved putting the photos in the album – first with those sticky corners (anyone remember those, or am I dating myself?)  Later my mom got me the sticky photo pages and when I was in high school I started actually scrapbooking.  This was before personal computers were really good for much, so my friends and I would cut words out of magazinesj or hand write our titles.

Now with most photos being digital, I find photo books to be a great keepsake, as well as a fun gift.

I was so excited when asked me to review their photo books.  What to make, and for who?

My Review:

I found the site super easy to use.  I made an 11.5 x 8.5 in. hardcover book and an 8 x 6 in. softcover book.  There are seven different sizes of photo books and each can have 20 or more pages. also has other options like blankets, ornaments, phone cases, greeting cards, shower curtains and more!!

I decided to use the hardcover photo book to make a fun Christmas present for my  three year old nephew.  Since we have had quite a few animals in our house at one time  or another, I made him a photo book called Aunt Teressa’s Farm photo book reviewIt was super easy to make.  I made the collage in Picmonkey,  then imported the photo.  You can pick all the backgrounds, borders, filters and  titles right in  the toolbar.

There are so many choices for uploading photos, and it’s super easy. You can add photos from your Facebook albums, Instagram, Flickr, or your own computer.  Or you can text photos directly from your phone.  I used the texting option  for most of my photos and  it went very quickly.

For the soft cover book, I made a recipe book of my best tomato recipes from the blog. photo book reviewI liked that I could alternate between the overview of all the pages or a close up of just one page.  You can’t copy and paste text in  the editor, so  I made my recipes .jpgs and uploaded them that way.  I think it turned out very well.

I procrastinated these projects, so I don’t have the finished products in my hands yet, but here are some examples of other’s finished projects using  (I will post pics of mine as soon as  I have them.) photo book review

I highly recommend  It was super easy to use and they have diverse photo products to meet all types of budgets and needs!!

  1. I would love to do this! With digital photos, it seems I let them pile up on my computer without getting them ‘developed.’ This would be a great way of storing photos, saving me from putting them in albums!
