Since our move to Oregon, I have been much more tired than usual. I also started having some pretty bad crying jags. I haven’t really showed any of the signs of menopause as of yet, so I wasn’t sure if I was getting depressed due to the move. The weather up here is also a lot more dismal than in northern California, this time of year. That could be a contributing factor as well.
I’m already on a mild anti-anxiety med and a sleeping pill. I didn’t want to start taking anything stronger. Art and I talked about it and decided a wellness regimen, combining self-care and vitamins/herbs (in addition to my regular meds) would be worth a try.
Check out my routine and see if it might work for you:
My Wellness Regimen
- After I get up in the morning, I use my SAD light (Sphere Gadget Technologies Lightphoria, 10,000 Lux Energy Light Lamp) for about 20 minutes.
- During this time I do my daily devotions.
- Next, I do a journal exercise in Evernote.
- I eat my breakfast and take my vitamins.
- I check in on Sparkpeople and get in some exercise.
Of course, if my mood and energy levels don’t improve, I will discuss my symptoms with my therapist.
Soon after I started my wellness regimen, Healthycell asked me to try out their Healthycell Pro supplements. Bonus!!
