Since I have been working full-time for the past two years, I have been working on my fashion sense. Part of that learning process involves acquiring more statement jewelry. I have already purchased and/or received a few pieces of costume jewelry and some nice bracelets, but I needed a necklace for everyday.
I was thrilled when the people at oNecklace.com asked me to review a piece of their jewelry.
About the Product:
oNecklace is an international jewelry manufacturer, that deals exclusively with customized name necklaces. Inspired by the concept of personalized nameplate pendants, they opened our doors to the world in 2001 and have been creating beautiful and fashionable customized jewelry.
As I browsed the website I was a little overwhelmed by all the beautiful choices. oNecklace offers plated or pure sterling silver and pure gold or gold plated necklaces, rings, bracelets and jewelry, most of which can be customized with one or more names. I thought about getting my name on a necklace. That style is very popular these days, and since my name is spelled differently than usual, it would be cool to have one. I also thought about getting a mother’s necklace with the names of my kids.
Finally, I settled on the Sterling Silver Two Hearts Swarovski Crystal with Two Names. I lost my wedding ring many years ago and this piece seemed like a special way to show my love for Art.
The ordering process was very easy. I just had to give both of our names and the birth month for each.
When the box arrived in the mail I was surprised at how beautifully it was packaged:
The necklace chain is so delicate looking, but very strong. The hearts are sweet and simple, intertwined. One heart reads “Arthur” with a ruby-colored Swarovski crystal and the other reads “Teressa” with an Aquamarine Swarovski crystal.
I couldn’t wait to try on this beautiful necklace. I had to wait to wear it to work until I was wearing something plain that would really show it off:
You can see the detail better in the title photo, but look how simple and elegant. It would go with almost anything, dressy or casual. I plan to wear this necklace most days to remind me of 27 years of marriage with my wonderful hubby.
This is a Fashionista Event Opportunity in conjunction with oNecklace. I received a review item in order to share my honest opinion about the item and the company. Fashionista Events is co-hosted by Still Blonde After All These Years and ModlyChic. #FashionistaEvents
