I Got A Visit From the Fairy Hobmother – I’ve Finally Arrived!!

I know this is a strange title, and you’re probably wondering – what’s a fairy hobmother?

fairy hobmotherWell, in the world of mom blogs, a visit from the fairy hobmother means you’ve finally arrived.  I’ve been trying to get a visit from the sneaky little devil for over a year, but he’s elusive (yes, the fairy hobmother is a he).  His goal is to spread light and joy across the blogosphere.

 

A week ago, I got an email titled Greetings from the Fairy Hobmother and here is what he said:

I was very impressed with what I saw, you clearly work very hard on your blog and I think that such hard work deserves to be rewarded.

I’d like to send you a $50 voucher for Amazon to brighten your day.

The fairy hobmother is the spritely representative for the fairy overlords.  I hope the next time he visits he brings me a new microwave.  Ours is 18 years old and I can tell it’s on its last legs.  At least I don’t think it’s supposed to smell like that, and should there be rust on the inside?

    My sweet Rodesian Ridgeback to come back to me healthy. I know one should not mess with acts of God so maybe just a puppy to get us through the grieving.
