Art’s parents will be here in the next week or two to help us move and we thought it would be nice to take them out to dinner as a thank you for all their help. One of their favorite restaurants is Chili’s. My mother-in-law loves the Chicken Caeasar Salad and Art Sr. goes for the ribs every time. We almost never go to Chili’s by ourselves, so we thought, why not?
Since we haven’t been to Chili’s in awhile, I thought I’d take a look at the menu online. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many choices there were, as my main memory of Chili’s is of the ribs. Art and his Dad both love the ribs, and they are really good, but the item I most want to try on the menu is the Crispy Shrimp Tacos. They sound so yummy and they would go perfectly with another new menu item – the CoronaRita at Chili’s!!

The CoronaRita at Chili’s combines Jose Cuervo Especial Tequila with a Coronita (a 7 oz. mini Corona). Sounds refreshing, right? And those Crispy Shrimp Tacos drizzled with a honey-chipotle sauce are the perfect sweet, smoky, spicy combo to go with Chili’s new thirst quencher. I think Art and my in-laws will love it too. After all, it’s almost Cinco de Mayo, and what better way to celebrate than with tequila and beer? I’ll let you know how it goes
So, what’s your favorite menu item at Chili’s? Any suggestions on what we should try? And what do you think of the new CoronaRita at Chili’s? Do you love your Margarita so much that you want to buy it a beer? Please leave your comments below.
